This blog will slowly become a collection of news articles & links to scientific papers that bring into the question (or in some cases downright condemn) the prevailing spacetime construct of modern physics, which was built from Einstein's original field equations, but has predictions & properties quite apart from those predicted by the original field equations.
Moreover an attempt will be made at demonstrating the suppression of scientific research in general, the main motivating factor in such suppression being, sadly, allocation of funding. (That's right folks, the money wins again!) As well, alternatives to the space-time paradigm will be presented, some in agreement with the predictions of General Relativity, others quite separate & in some cases in direct opposition for their predictions.
A change in mindset is key. Logic & the worship of abstract purity is not enough to understand reality. Limitations to our observational powers are far from trivial, and any theory trying to explain reality should take such limitations into account.
For starters, consider the case of Stephen Crothers. His research demonstrates a misunderstanding of the Schwarzschild metric - a particular solution of Einstein's field equations. Apparently, what is now known as the Hilbert-Schwarzschild metric is not actually that derived by Schwarzschild himself, & Hilbert's re-ordering of the equation missed some key points & he thus changed the meaning. Essentially, Hilbert bungled it.
Crothers did not discover this point, but when telling his research supervisors of this problem, he was denied the opportunity to complete his PhD.
